Amazon Rebranding Efforts Feature Ad Products, Brand Shopping Experiences, and Ad Tech

Amazon Advertising quietly rolled out a new update and rebranding to their current “Amazon Ads” offering. The refreshed site and new packaging of their ad products now features three categories including:
 
Streaming live and on-demand, unBoxed will be held October 26th and 27th. As seen in the image below, Ad Age reports the “new B-to-B ad campaign comes with the tagline: ‘Your brand. Their world,’ and it is launching just as Amazon enters into one of its biggest promotional opportunities—its new streaming deal with the NFL.”

According to our Amazon experts at Tinuiti, we anticipate Amazon will formally announce the rebrand at “unBoxed” later this month.

Credit: Amazon Although Amazon has not released a formal statement regarding the rebrand, they are actively promoting “Amazon Ads” as an ad campaign of its own, with hopes to position Amazon’s platform as “a place to build brands and not just pump direct response sales for consumer products online” (Source). 
“It’s a pretty significant update on their end,” Pat Petriello, Director of Amazon Strategy at Tinuiti says.
