According to Bain, the online channel increased its sales by 50% in Luxury in 2020, nearly doubling its share to reach 23% of luxury sales globally (up from 12% in 2019).
Ecommerce-as-a-service (EaaS) solutions allow businesses selling online to focus on building their brand rather than having to worry about warehouses, logistics, software and even a website. The Moot Group (TMG) is one of the players seeking to grow in this pay-as-you-go space, alongside entrants such as Next and its Total Platform, and joining established players such as Ocado Solutions and Zalando.
